Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their search for a marquee striker by making contact with the representatives of Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez. A potential player-exchange proposal is also understood to have been mentioned during the early stages of negotiations.
The move signals United’s determination to strengthen their squad after securing a return to the UEFA Champions League. While much of the club’s attention has been focused on reinforcing the midfield, the search for another proven goalscorer has now become an equally important priority.
