INFRAME ASIA, CULINARY – Singaporean tea brand TWG Tea has opened its largest flagship boutique at Changi Airport Terminal 3, combining tea retail, food and cultural displays in one space. The TWG Tea Gallery officially opened on October 1, 2026, Singapore Standard Time (SGT, UTC+8). The new location also houses the brand’s first permanent tea museum.
The flagship covers about 2,700 square feet inside Terminal 3’s Departure/Transit Lounge North. It is designed as an immersive space where travelers can explore tea collections, accessories, gifts and food products before or after their flights. The store operates around the clock, matching Changi Airport’s 24-hour environment.
One of the most prominent features is a wall displaying more than 1,200 tea tins. The store also has a hand-painted world tea map covering the ceiling, measuring about seven meters high. The map highlights tea-growing regions around the world and forms a central visual feature inside the gallery.
The museum contains more than 170 pieces of antique teaware and decorative objects. The collection includes teapots, serving pieces and other objects connected to tea traditions across different cultures and historical periods. More than 50 antique Russian samovars are also displayed inside the museum.
Some of the museum’s pieces date from the 17th through the 20th centuries. Among the highlights are Yixing teapots, traditionally made from porous, unglazed clay that can absorb the flavors of tea over repeated use. The collection provides visitors with a look at how tea preparation and serving practices have developed across different regions.
The collection was assembled over many years by Taha Bouqdib, co-founder of TWG Tea and president and chief executive of V3 Gourmet. Bouqdib has collected antique tea-related objects from around the world for about 15 years. Some of the objects that began as part of his personal collection are now displayed as part of the museum.
Visitors can also explore more than 1,000 single-estate tea harvests and exclusive blends at the boutique. The gallery has a dedicated gifting counter featuring products designed for travelers. Several products are available exclusively at the Changi Airport location.
The new flagship also introduces a takeaway counter serving tea-based drinks and desserts. Among the most distinctive offerings are tea-infused ice cream and sorbet. The outlet also sells tea-infused macarons and other sweets created specifically for the new location.
One of the exclusive products introduced for the opening is Grand Voyage Tea. The boutique also offers special gift sets aimed at travelers, including combinations of TWG Tea blends, tea bags and accessories. Other exclusive products include Singapore-themed gift selections and a Changi Airport tote bag bundle.
The food selection includes flavors designed to connect TWG Tea’s products with Singaporean tastes. Tea-infused desserts include options incorporating ingredients such as pandan and gula melaka, alongside other tea-based creations. These products are positioned as takeaway items for travelers passing through Terminal 3.
The opening expands TWG Tea’s presence at Changi Airport, where the brand already operates outlets in Terminals 1, 2 and 4. The new Terminal 3 gallery is larger than the brand’s existing Terminal 4 location, which covers about 2,000 square feet. Its location within the airport’s transit area allows the brand to serve international travelers throughout the day and night.
The TWG Tea Gallery opened to the public on October 2, 2026, Singapore Standard Time (SGT, UTC+8), following its October 1 launch. The gallery is located in Terminal 3’s Departure/Transit Lounge North and remains open 24 hours a day.
